Vår gode nabo, Fjellskolen Rondeheim, har stisykler til utleie. Les mer her. Turforslag: Start ved Høvringen Høgfjellshotell. Følg grusveien til Putten seter og videre til Skarseter og tilbake. Cirka 14 km, og en forholdsvis lett tur. Start ved Høvringen. Følg blåmerket sti til Varemorkje, videre til Skogsetrene over Vardhøj og tilbake til Høvringen. Traseen går både på skogsvei og på sti, og den er cirka 12 km. Følg grusvei mot Putten seter i cirka 2,5 km, og ta av ved skiltet mot Formokampen på gul sti. Følg grønn sti tilbake til Høvringen gjennom Rondane Haukliseter Fjelhotell. Ta grusveien inn til Smuksjøseter, og følg rød sti tilbake til Høvringen. Dette er en kjempemorsom løype for deg som har litt terrengerfaring. Ny sykkelsti er planlagt for sommeren 2021. Den går fra Høvringen til Dovre. Fiskekort kjøper du på Høvringen Handel eller Smuksjøseter Fjellstue. Ørret finner du i Høvringsåe og i Høvringsvatna mellom Smuksjøseter og Peer Gynt hytta. I Harrkjønn ved Anaripigg finner du harr. Lett tilgjengelig område med fiskevann både ved vei, og kortere turer med en til to timers gange. Rene ørretvann finner du i den sørlige delen, med et par unntak. Ranglartjern er det eneste vannet med abbor, og her er det tilrettelagt med en gapahuk. Det var de som i sin tid tok imot de første gjestene på setra. Ole døde dessverre tidlig og Mari ble alene med seks barn. Av disse barna var det Ola som tok over driften av Skjelleseter og startet profesjonell drift. Blant de første overnattingsgjestene kom lordene fra overklassen i London. Det var rundt 1850-tallet. De fikk sønnen Olaf, som i dag er 92 år gammel. Ruby døde dessverre da Olaf bare var 1 år og 3 måneder under en operasjon på Lillehammer sykehus. Hun ble bare 23 år. Ola giftet seg igjen i 1936 med Kitty (Kristine Margrethe Pavels-Aabel) og fikk sønnen Sæmund i 1937. Follow the blue-marked path to Varemorkje, on to Skogsetrene over Vardhøj and back to Høvringen. The route goes both on a forest road and on a path, and distance is about 12 km. Start at Høvringen Høgfjellshotel and follow the gravel road towards Puttenseter for about 2.5 km, and follow the sign to Formokampen on the yellow path. Follow the green path back to Høvringen through Rondane Haukliseter Fjelhotell. Take the gravel road to Smuksjøseter, and follow the red path back to Høvringen. There are mountain trout along rivers and ponds around Høvringen. You can buy a fishing license at Høvringen Handel or Smuksjøseter Fjellstue. Ttrouts can be found in Høvringsåe and in Høvringsvatna between Smuksjøseter and the Peer Gynt cabin. In Harrkjønn by Anaripigg you will find grayling. In the area you can fish from 39 lakes and several rivers and streams. Just over half of these are located in the Kringsæter area. The waters are relatively shallow, and heat up quickly in the summer. The area is mostly forest, but some of the lakes are above the tree line. A buzzing bird and animal life characterizes this mountain area. Trout, char and perch are the species you will find here. Fish of 1-2 kg are caught annually in several of the lakes. Here you will find lakes suited for family excursions to lakes for the more discerning fly fisherman. Easily accessible area with opportunity for fishing both by road, and by shorter trips consisting of a one to two hour walk. Pure trout water can be found in the southern part, with a few exceptions. Ranglartjern is the only water with perch, and here it is arranged so you can camp using gapahuk. Les rivières et les étangs autour d’Høvringen regorgent de truites de montagne. Vous pouvez acheter un permis de pêche au magasin d’Høvringen ou à Smuksjøseter Fjellstue. Vous trouverez des truites dans les étangs Høvringsae et Høvringsvatna entre Smuksjøseter et la cabane Peer Gynt. Pour pêcher l’ombre, il faudra tenter votre chance sur l’étang Harrkjønn, près d’Anaripigg. Dans la région, vous pouvez pêcher dans 39 lacs et dans plusieurs rivières et ruisseaux. Un peu plus de la moitié de ces lacs est située dans la zone de Kringsæter. Les plans d’eau sont relativement peu profonds et chauffent rapidement l’été. La région est principalement forestière, mais certains de ces lacs se trouvent aussi au-dessus de la limite des arbres. Cette zone de montagne est très riche en oiseaux et en vie animale en général. Comme espèces de poissons, vous trouverez de la truite, de l’omble et de la perche dans ces eaux. Des poissons de 1 à 2 kg sont pêchés tous les ans dans ces lacs. Vous pourrez à la fois profiter de lacs parfaits pour une excursion en famille et de lacs plus adaptés aux pêcheurs à la mouche éclairés. Les plans d’eau sont facilement accessibles, soit depuis la route, soit en marchant une à deux heures. Les eaux à truites se trouvent côté sud, avec quelques exceptions. Ranglartjern est le seul point d’eau abritant des perches. Le lieu est équipé d’un gapahuk (abri) qui vous permet de camper sur place. Vous pouvez vous installer à l’intérieur de la cabine du véhicule où être tracté à skis en vous accrochant à une corde. Vous pouvez louer des raquettes auprès de nous et vous faire conseiller par notre personnel pour connaître les meilleurs itinéraires. Chaque mardi après-midi, Rondane Ski Center organise une randonnée en raquettes avec un guide. La randonnée traverse une zone incroyable qui longe Høvringsåa et dure environ 1,5 heure.
